BITS Pilani - Lex Omnia Moot Court Competition, 2016

Bits Pilani - K.K. Birla Goa Campus in association with NALSAR University of Law is going to organize the Lex Omnia Moot Court Competition as part of WAVES 2016.

Date: 3rd - 6th November, 2016
Venue: BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, Zuarinagar, Vasco

Eligibility and Team Composition:

• All Law Colleges and Law Schools recognized by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate in the Competition.
• The team shall comprise of two mooters and two researchers, all of whom shall be regular bonafide students of the institution. Only students from amongst the under-graduate five year integrated L.L.B. degree and three year degree law programmes are eligible. Students pursuing Master's Degree in Law or any post graduate degree in Law are not eligible to be team members.
• Only ONE team from each Law College / School shall be permitted to register.
• Invitation for the competition shall be subject to a maximum participation of 32 teams on an elimination based on the memorials.
• No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the registration form except at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
• The two designated mooters shall be the speakers and shall put forth oral arguments in the competition and the researchers shall not be permitted to put forth oral arguments.
• The dress code for the participants during the rounds of the competition as well as other functions of the Competitions shall be western formals for gentlemen and western or Indian formals for ladies.
• Each team shall be provided a "Team Code" and the same must be used for all purposes during the competition
