Remembering S.P. Sathe 11th National Moot Court Competition 2016

Dr. Satyaranjan Purushottam Sathe was a distinguished legal luminary and a renowned academic in the judicial universe of India. Every year, Professor S. P. Sathe Foundation, set up by the Indian Law Society, organizes three events at ILS Law College, Pune on a specific theme with a view to commemorate his contribution to Indian Jurisprudence and Social Action and to encourage academic pursuit of law students. The three events are: a Memorial Lecture, a Conference, and a Moot Court Competition. The academic year 2016-17 will see the ILS holding the Remembering S. P. Sathe 11th National Moot Court Competition.

Date: 23rd - 25th September, 2016
Venue: ILS Law College, Pune

Eligibility:
Students enrolled in a full-time bachelors (3 / 5 year) law programme at the time of the competition are eligible to compete in the Competition. Each College / Law School / University may enter only one team.

Team Composition:
A team shall be composed of either Two Members (both speakers) or Three Members (two speakers and one researcher).

Registration:
  • The soft copy of the duly filled registration form with all team details along with the scanned copy of Demand Draft must be submitted by email to spsathemoot@ilslaw.in by 20th August, 2016.
  • Hard copy of the Registration Form must reach ILS Law College, Pune on or before 23rd August, 2016.
  • No change in the names of the participants shall be permitted after the receipt of the Registration Form, except at the sole discretion of the Organizers.
  • All teams shall be given a ''Team Code'' by the Organizers on validation of their Registration Form and Demand Draft. Thereafter the teams shall use their designated "Team Code" for all correspondence with the Organizers. The same team code must be used by the teams during the submission of Memorials and during all the Rounds of the Competition.
